Hi all! I can't believe it is already November... I have been busy with lots of family things lately, and trying to get Christmas presents ready for my family in Japan. I need to send them before the post office gets crazy busy, you know.
How is your November starting out?
OK, here are the link loves for October. :)
I just LOVE this Retro Flower Quilt by
Knotted Thread. The design itself is not too complicated, but I love all the colors she used on this quilt, and how all the colors give a beautiful gradation to this quilt.
This is another quilt that caught my eye. This was linked from flicker (and that's ok too!) by BGMom1,
"Glam Garlands Quilt Top" - approx. 49" x 68" - pattern from Elizabeth Hartman's book "Modern Patchwork". It is so different from traditional quilts, and I LOVE it! How cute and modern.
Have you seen how some people seem to have beautiful and effortless (looks like) hair style? Do they ever make you wonder how it's done? Here is an example of what I what I mean, and
Ma Nouvelle Mode shares a tutorial on how to achieve the look on her blog!
Look how adorable these Needle Felt Acorns are!
Eat Sleep Make shared this fun project with us, go check out their blog for a complete tutorial. This will be a nice project to work on with the kids (maybe not really little ones, but somewhat older ones) this fall.
The last link love is by
Lines Across. Don't you think those Lego gift boxes are over the top cute?! They will be perfect for Lego themed parties, or it will be fun as a Christmas gift box too. You can get free templates on her blog as well. Woo-hoo!
Thank you everyone for participating. Mark your calendar for the next link party... it will be Wed, November 28th. :)
See you at the next post; I will be sharing a fun tutorial!
