while i was in huntsville a few weeks ago i made my mom some fabric shades for her bay window in her kitchen. i made them using her existing mini-blinds. i made them for my client mary beth last summer and they turned out really nicely.
here is what my mom’s kitchen window looked like before. pretty plain and dull.
and here they are after. much better. they are by no means professionally made blinds but they work great until she can save up the money to have the real ones made. oh, and i got the fabric in the remnant section at lewis and sheron. i got 5 yards for $37 which was more than enough to do all her windows.
